In this article, we will show you how you can use foreknown to ensure simple recording for employees and efficient provision of all relevant absence data for the tax consultant in clear and customizable employee reports.

With the release 2.16.0 of foreknown, we enable the management of reasons for absence, which are used for the new Excel employee report “Evaluation of Sick Leaves”, among other things. Employee contracts can get an explicit end date. Subscriptions have also been extended to include a half-year cycle and the way in which the invoice date is determined has been made configurable.

The recording and billing of on-call services presents many companies with challenges. On the one hand, services rendered must be reliably documented and correctly billed to the customer. On the other hand, the remuneration of employees must be fair and comprehensible. A lack of transparency or time-consuming manual processes often lead to errors and unnecessary additional work. With Release 2.15, foreknown offers a comprehensive solution for recording, tracking and billing on-call services.

In foreknown, a lot of information about employees is managed that is important for team management, human resources and payroll accounting. It is therefore necessary to be able to easily query all key KPIs relating to working hours, vacation, sick days, other absences and on-call duty for defined periods of time.

Release 2.15.1 provides minor improvements and bug fixes relating to the new "On-Call Service" feature.

Release 2.15 provides two key functions. Firstly, on-call service can now be planned, associated activities booked and billed via separate positions in orders. Secondly, employee reports can be exported to Excel so that working-, vacation-, absence- and on-call-times can be easily analysed.
